The greatest value of a trade show is face to face communications.

  • Conception = Where you generating ideas, (6-12 months in advance of event)
  • Creation = Producing your ideas and turning them into print/web marketing. (3-6 months in advance)
  • Completion = Follow up with current projects and finalize marketing. (6-8 weeks in advance)
  • Home Stretch = Last minute fixes.
  • Event = Staff and Visitor Interaction
  • Use pre-show promotion to get qualified people to visit your booth.
  • Booth location is not as important as effective pre-show promotion.
  • If you use give-aways, be sure they relate to your business goals and exhibit strategy.
  • Meet the emotional and business needs of your booth visitor.
  • Do something which is interactive within your display.
  • You have 3 to 8 seconds for a visitor to decide if you have something of benefit to offer them.
  • Design serves a purpose, it is not decoration.
  • Train your booth staff with a list of qualifying questions.
  • Implement a follow-up program after the exhibit.
  • Have fun!
