- Conception = Where you generating ideas, (6-12 months in advance of event)
- Creation = Producing your ideas and turning them into print/web marketing. (3-6 months in advance)
- Completion = Follow up with current projects and finalize marketing. (6-8 weeks in advance)
- Home Stretch = Last minute fixes.
- Event = Staff and Visitor Interaction
- Use pre-show promotion to get qualified people to visit your booth.
- Booth location is not as important as effective pre-show promotion.
- If you use give-aways, be sure they relate to your business goals and exhibit strategy.
- Meet the emotional and business needs of your booth visitor.
- Do something which is interactive within your display.
- You have 3 to 8 seconds for a visitor to decide if you have something of benefit to offer them.
- Design serves a purpose, it is not decoration.
- Train your booth staff with a list of qualifying questions.
- Implement a follow-up program after the exhibit.
- Have fun!
